Students of the Lagos State
University (LASU) yesterday Thursday June 5th took their protest to the
Lagos State Government House in Alausa ,Ikeja, where they barricaded the
main entrance with their buses and remained there for hours. When they
got hungry, they turned brought out their big pots, ingredients,
firewood, made a fire and prepared a meal right there in front of the
Government House gate. No time! Lol. The students prepared beans and eat
it with bread.
The students are protesting the recent hike in their school fees, and asking Lagos State governor to intervene on their behalf. They vowed to remain at the scene until they got a positive response from the governor. They were eventually forced to leave when no official spoke with them but vowed to return until their demands are met. See more photos
