4 "Missing" Chibok girls found
Photo: Goodluck Jonathan and the abducted Chibok girls
According to Sahara Reporters, Borno State Commissioner for Education Musa Inuwa Kubo made this known last Friday.
The discovery was made when Borno State Governor Kashim Shettima ordered the Education Ministry to create detailed profiles on each missing girl. During that process, involving visits to parents, 4 girls were found safe at home.
It was learnt that these girls could be among those students who escaped when Boko Haram transported them to the unknown location. Following the return the parents probably failed to notify the competent bodies because they were afraid the abductors would return for the girls.
Having taken into consideration the latest data, Kubo concluded that the current number of missing girls is 219.
This however conflicts with the information provided by  due to illness. However, the government is said to be unaware of the alleged released, a source revealed to the journalists.

photo

Son of late legal icon, Gani Fawehinmi, Muhammed Fawehinmi, has blamed former President Olusegun Obasanjo for being part of the Boko Haram problem faced in the country today.
The junior Fawehinmi made this disclosure today, 31 May, 2014 while speaking on a live programme on LTV 8, Bimbo and Shola Connect.
Mr Fawehinmi stated that Obasanjo had during his administration ignored a warning issued by the Russian military intelligence over  the growth of some unknown fundamentalist building up in Sambisa Forest.
* Muhammed Fawehinmi fingered Obasanjo as part of Boko Haram problem
He however added that the situation has deteriorated today with the abduction of more than 276 schoolgirls abducted by the Boko Haram insurgents at the Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State on 14 April, 2014.

Goodluck Jonathan Has Failed Many People, Not Just Me ! –OBJ

When your godfather start telling you the same things that millions of Nigeria are saying - that you have not lived up to expectations as President - then you must check yourself immediately and ignore the sycophants around you who will always tell you what is sweet to your ears so they can continue to shop with you.

This is the situation President Goodluck Jonathan is, as his benefactor, ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo, who is known for saying his mind no matter who is affected, has declared that Jonathan is failing Nigerians.

Speaking on the State of the Nation on a TV interview, Obasanjo said Mr Jonathan lived in self-denial about the abduction of the Chibok schoolgirls for more than two weeks. He insisted that action is very unfortunate.‬‪

Obasanjo Warns Military Officers Over Abducted Chibok Girls !

Stop playing public relations propaganda with the abduction of over 200 female student that were kidnapped from their school in Chibok Borno State, ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo has warned the Nigerian military.
Reacting to comments made by the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Marshal Alex Badeh, that the Nigerian military knew the whereabouts of the abducted girls but can't go in to rescue them, Obasanjo said:
“This is not an issue that you will play public relations propaganda with. It is a serious issue that is like a spear in the heart of the parents and whatever statement we make and action we take, if it will not really deal with the issue in a way that will bring those girls out safe and secure and make their families happy and will also give

Boko Haram Kidnaps 3 Emirs, Kills Emir Of Gwoza ?

Oh dear! Our country Nigeria is now a killing field where some heartless human beings called Boko Haram kill both civilians and soldiers in broad day light and at time time with impunity. What is really going on?

As you read this, members of the deadly Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram, have kidnapped 3 traditional rulers — called Emirs — in Nigeria’s volatile and violence-plagued North East.
Boko Haram militants ambushed their (emirs) convoy and kidnapped the traditional rulers,” a top security source confirmed on Friday afternoon.

How To Satisfy A Woman Even With “Small” Pen*s!?

Men tend to misjudge the size of their penis, due to viewing it from above. Research shows that many men believe that their penis is smaller than normal when they actually have a normal sized penis.

The famous sexuality researchers, Masters and Johnson, say that penis size has no physical effect on female sexual satisfaction.

The most important thing in sexual satisfaction for women is orgasm. "Usually when women complain about a small penis, it's also that they're not having orgasms.” Large penises don't equal an instant orgasm. In fact, penis sizes that skew large can deter women's orgasms, and it wouldn’t be top in their priorities.

Meet The World’s Youngest Bodybuilders Boys (Aged 7 & 9), Pump Iron 2 Hours Every Day !

It’s hard not to think something’s not quite right when you look at Giuliano and Claudiu Stroe.

At only nine and seven years old, they have the sculpted frames of much older men – and it’s all thanks to two-hour workouts they go through on a daily basis.

The two can perform stunts that would have grown men in tears. Giuliano, nine, has broken two world records for 90-degree vertical press-ups, and another for holding on to a pole with his body held out horizontally like a human flag.

Claudiu, seven, followed in his brother’s footsteps and can already perform handstand press-ups on a bar, and is close to matching his brother’s flagpole trick.

Both boys think nothing of lifting 4kg dumbbells, and frequently heft heavy weights to work on their biceps and build up their chest muscles.

They are put through the rigorous regime by their father Iulian, who had high hopes of his boys achieving international stardom and netting his family, known as The Hercules, fame and fortune.

Despite his hard work though, and his boys’ undeniably fierce physiques, The Hercules clan, real name Stroe, hasn’t managed to get the earnings to match their impressive moniker.

The Stroes, from Romania, have found themselves in dire financial straits following a brief stint in Italy where they tried to make a name for themselves as the Hercules bodybuilding family.

Now back in Romania, Iuliana is scraping by through scrap metal-dealing, which leaves little left over to fund the boys’ extensive training schedule.

On his Facebook page, Giuliano wrote that his dad now hoped to move to Britain as he had struggled to make enough money in Romania.

Whatever you do, don’t tell Nigel Farage.

Chibok Boy Confesses To Razing Houses In Borno Village For N2,000?

The youths had wanted to lynch the young boy when elders in the village intervened and he was instead arrested and taken to Sarkin Baka- renown hunter in Biu town, where he confessed to being instructed to set the houses ablaze. He then led the vigilante in the area to the man who claimed asked him to do it. Both were arrested and handed over to police in Biu town.

5 Things You Must Know About Bread Before Taking The Next Slice!

Here are valuable points about bread.

1. Putting bread in the fridge will actually make it go stale quicker. Bread from the grocery store will stay fresh for 2 to 4 days if you leave it on the counter. Bakery bread, which usually has fewer preservatives, will keep 1 to 3 days. If you want to store bread for a longer, put it in the freezer. It will stay fresh for 2 to 3 months.

2. Eating too much bread can raise your BP. If you eat toast in the morning, a sandwich at lunch, and a roll with dinner, you're not just loading up on carbohydrates. You're also eating a lot of salt. A single slice of bread isn't high in salt. But eating bread several times a day adds up. Too much salt raises blood pressure. It can put you at risk of heart attack or stroke.

Al-Mustapha denies beating Obasanjo while in prison!

Former Chief Security Officer to the late military head of state, General Sani Abacha, Major Hamza Al-Mustapha, denied beating up former President Olusegun Obasanjo during Obasanjo's incarceration in prison.
He declared this an interview with BBC Hausa Service radio on April 1, 2014, Tuesday.
Al-Mustapha said he rather helped OBJ with his personal upkeep at the various prisons.
"I have never beaten Obasanjo and I never beat up anybody. Obasanjo lied on me and God will be the judge between me and him.
"When Obasanjo was arrested on charges of coup attempt, I was the one who gave N10,000 for the purchase of bed sheet, pillow sheet and brush.
"Also, when he was moved to Jos prison, I and governor Manah used to buy him food items from NASCO Company. All these assistances I rendered were due to his position as a former head of state and an elder person," he said.
Al-Mustapha also denied ever beating anybody or standing on the way of somebody's freedom in his life.
"I had no intention whatsoever for someone to pay me back what I did to him," he added.
Asked that the former president had at a number of times claimed to have been abused in prison by him, Al-Mustapha replied that it was all a lie.
"You can see during Oputa panel, he refused to show up. Up till today, he has never agreed to meet me personally," he said.
When asked on whether he would support President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 general elections, the former CSO shied away from a point-blank answer.
"I cannot say anything until when I am done with the court's appeal case and with the military. Until such a time when I would announce to the whole world about my decision, after I am done with all these cases," he said.
It would be recalled that the Court of Appeal in Lagos has discharged and acquitted Major Hamza Al-Mustapha in July 2013.
In his famous letter to GEJ Obasanjo alleged that the former CSO was released from prison to help the president train assassins to eliminate opposition politicians, who were on Jonathan's watch list.

Senate Committee Did Not Absolve NNPC or Diezani ! ––Senator Bukola Saraki

There is a calculated attempt by agents of the Presidency to sell a lie to Nigerians that Sanusi Lamido was not in any way saying the truth about missing Oil money and that Petroleum Minister, Diezani Allison-Madueke and her men at the NNPC have been cleared of the allegations.

Here is a clarification: The recent media reports claiming that the Senate Committee on Finance has cleared the NNPC of any unaccounted revenue fund is not true. Though I could not attend the last meeting of the committee, I have been very active in the investigation. Nothing significant has changed to suggest clearing anybody. I can say on behalf of the Committee that these media reports bear no correlation to the content of the Senate Committee report and I would urge the public to disregard it in its entirety.

That the Committee is yet to receive the report on forensic audit and independent analysis on the subject clearly indicate that we have a lot of grounds to cover in order to determine the level of culpability or otherwise of the agency on the alleged non-committal.
So, to suggest any clearance for anybody at this stage is out of the question.

I will further advise that the media should wait for the senate to release the details of the Committee report to the public before they jump into spurious conclusions.

Signed: Senator 'Bukola Saraki

Egypt election: Sisi secures crushing win?

Former military chief Abdul Fattah al-Sisi has won an overwhelming victory in Egypt's presidential election, according to provisional results.
He gained over 96% of the vote with ballots from most polling stations counted, state media say.
Turnout is expected to be around 45% despite a massive push to get more people to polling stations. Many groups boycotted the vote.
Mr Sisi deposed President Mohammed Morsi last July after mass protests.
He has overseen a bloody crackdown on Mr Morsi's Muslim Brotherhood movement in which more than 1,400 people have been killed and 16,000 detained.
Democracy campaigner Nagy Kamel: "I don't believe these are real elections"
The Brotherhood said it would boycott the vote, as did many liberal and secular activist groups.
Hamdeen Sabahi, the only other candidate in the election, said earlier his team had recorded "violations" in the voting process

Malaysia missing MH370 plane: 'Ping area' ruled out!

The depth numbers in the map are estimates, with 95% of the view built from satellite altimetry data

File image of the Bluefin-21 aboard Australian vessel Ocean Shield After the pinger locator heard signals, the robot submersible Bluefin-21 was deployed

A huge multinational search operation was mounted for the missing plane

The area where acoustic signals thought linked to the missing Malaysian plane were detected can now be ruled out as the final resting place of flight MH370, Australian officials say.
The Bluefin-21 submersible robot had finished its search of the area and found nothing, they said.
Efforts would now focus on reviewing search data, surveying the sea floor and bringing in specialist equipment.
Flight MH370 went missing on 8 March as it flew from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
Using satellite data, officials have concluded that the airliner, which had 239 people on board, ended its journey in the Indian Ocean, north-west of the Australian city of Perth.
No trace of the plane has been found and there is no explanation for its disappearance.

N49.8b: Senate Report Clears NNPC, Deziani, Says No Money Missing?

The Senate Committee on Finance which investigated the NNPC over allegations of fraud leveled against it by the suspended Governor of the Central Bank, Mallam Lamido Sanusi, today Wednesday May 28th submitted its report to the Senate saying no funds were missing, The Will Nigeria reports.
Sanusi had spuriously claimed in a leaked letter to President Goodluck that $49.8 billion in crude oil revenue was missing.
The detailed report according to sources at the Senate also cleared the NNPC and the Ministry of Petroleum of any wrong doing.
The report however directed the NNPC and the Ministry of Finance as well as other relevant agencies to reconcile a sum believed to be around $300 million dollars.

THEWILL can also report that the Senate said the suspended Governor of the Central Bank was hasty and got his figures wrong.

The report further recommended the immediate passage of the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) as the Minister of Petroleum, Mrs. Deziani Allison-Madueke continues to sanitise the industry.

The Senate Committee on Finance is under the chairmanship of Senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi (Kaduna PDP). The committee took about 5 months to complete its assignment.

“It Does Not Matter If You Are Wife Number 6 At Least You Are Wife” ! - Regina Askia

Former Beauty Queen, Reginia Askia wrote an open letter about the Nigerian woman and the societal pressures + the demands placed on her.

She shared it on her Facebook page and GP finds it interesting and decided to share it with her readers.

Here`s what she wrote;
I just read a social media fight between two people I know and I chuckle to myself because my friend was blowing some hot words there – she was really vexed. Reading through the literary missiles, a few questions came to mind.

Why is it that, generally when Nigerians fight their profanity, it usually centered around a woman’s marital status, her age and to top off the insults, her private parts? Are these the yardsticks that we measure our women by?

The marital status of a woman; Does it mean when a woman is not married she has no identity, she is less of a person or what? For a Nigerian woman to get any type of respect there has to be a man in the picture in whatever capacity?

How Feasible Is 2015 Election?

Let me begin by asking this pertinent question, should our election be in doubt?
In the United States, the whole world knows that the first Tuesday of November in every four years the Presidential elections takes place. It has never changed, at least not in the last Century. In Britain though no specific Date like that of the US, but the Parliamentary polls comes around every five years except for a snap election as is akin with the Parliamentary system of Government.
2015 ELECTIONS: What Nigerians Should Expect: Главное
So why the uncertainties regarding the 2015 Election: the fifth in the series since the return to Democracy in 1999? But Professor Jega came out with the Time-table months ago, so why the fears? Are the fears misplaced or on point?

It is a fact that in the history of the country’s electioneering process, no polls have taken place without bloodshed. True? Nigeria has never been so enmeshed in this level of insecurity. Nor have bombings gone up with reckless abandon as it is now. The question I always asked, how and when did we get here? How feasible is the 2015 Election, I asked again? With scores of Youth Corpers killed during the 2011 Elections with less bombings, how saved are they this time around?
Can a credible, free, fair and bloodless election take place come 2015? Hell no.

Esther Dyson: Breaking through tech’s glass ceiling!

Dyson talks with tech pioneers in Arizona in 1986 Dyson - with colleagues in 1986 - stood out because of her gender and brilliance

Dyson shown with Bill Gates in 1984 Bill Gates towers above influential women, says Dyson, shown with him in 1984

Dyson, speaking at a 2010 conference, is known as a "digital visionary"
"digital visionary"

Esther Dyson has been called "the most influential woman in all the computer world". After fostering some of the biggest names in technology - and growing wealthy in the process - she is now trying to help people live better with a new health initiative.
Dyson leaps up to welcome a visitor to a New York office on a spring morning. It is a typical greeting for her, reflecting an enthusiasm - and impatience - that goes back decades.
At 16, she enrolled at Harvard.
Even back then, says her friend Bill Kutik, a software industry analyst, she seemed confident and unafraid. She used to walk barefoot in the Harvard Crimson newsroom, he says, and also in the basement "where they were setting newspapers in hot lead".
For these and other reasons she stood out.
"For the longest time I was the youngest," says Dyson. "It's kind of like being the female. It's a useless distinction."
In her case, though, she is not only female - she has played an important role in the field of computers. The New York Times once called her the industry's "most influential woman".
When Dyson hears that, she makes a face.
"There's an awful lot of women," she says, describing her colleagues in the field. "But none of us is Bill Gates."
As she talks, she is sitting on a couch in a small room at Meetup.com. The company was founded in 2002, and she was one of its first investors.

Esther Dyson
At 62, she still takes her shoes off at work, and she tucks one foot under the other. She is wearing a black T-shirt that says: "Solve for <x>".
She likes to downplay her role in the industry, but others see her as a "digital visionary" (Time). She is treated like a rock star in Silicon Valley.
"In all fields that are dominated by men there's often a few women who are very successful," says Telle Whitney, chief executive of the Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology of Palo Alto, California.
"She is one of those role models that lets young people believe, 'Oh, I can make this work.'"
In the early years Dyson was often the only woman in the room, known for her keen intellect. Yet it would be hard for most women to emulate her, given her unusual background.
She grew up in Princeton, New Jersey, where her father, Freeman Dyson, was a physicist at the Institute for Advanced Study.
"He was Einstein's best friend," says Kutik. Her mother, Verena Huber-Dyson, is a mathematician.
After graduating Harvard, Dyson started out as a reporter at Forbes. Later she edited a must-read newsletter, Release 1.0, which she ran for more than two decades.
She also bought a company called Rosen Research, which she renamed EDventure Holdings, and invested in technology companies.
And as she told a New York Times reporter, she made "a lot of money from Google" through one of her investments.

Women in tech - downward slide

  • In the 1980s US women earned 37% of bachelor degrees in computer and information science.
  • By 2008 the number had dropped, with women earning 18% of the degrees.
Source: National Center for Women and Information Technology
Still, says her friend Kutik, Dyson lives mainly "in the world of ideas".
Today, she spends about one-quarter of her time in New York and the rest in San Francisco and other cities. She once trained as a cosmonaut in Star City, Russia, and has flown weightless.
"She's got an 'I don't care' attitude. It's 'I am who I am'. And she does it in such a nice way," says Vivek Wadhwa, a Stanford Law School fellow who is writing a book on women in technology. "She can be arrogant without seeming arrogant."
Dyson's business partner Daphne Kis, CEO of EDventure Holdings, says, "She's not a show-off but she gets impatient. You know that moment when Esther talks to you and she's kind of looking at your ear because she's on to the next thing?"
As founding chairman of Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (Icann), she worked hard to keep the internet free and vibrant.
"Look at it where the internet is today - the backbone of everything we do," says Wadhwa. "She was one of the luminaries."
Today she invests in start-ups, one of the few women in the field. Only 11 percent of investors are female, according to a 2011 survey by National Venture Capital Association and Dow Jones.
She says that most requests for start-up money are still from men, though the culture is changing.
"Originally Meetup was 18 guys," she says, looking down the hallway. "Now you walk out there, and there's a lot of women."
Her latest venture is an effort to help women - and men, too - live better, more healthful lives. Her goal, she says, is "not to cure cancer but to foster health so people don't get cancer in the first place".
Her non-profit, HICCup (Health Initiative Coordinating Council), will help people in five US communities become "radically" healthier, she says, as well as collect data to help people in other places make healthful choices.

She pays attention to her own health, too. She swims 50 minutes every day - sometimes fast, sometimes slow - and wears an activity tracker. She holds up her wrist in the late morning. The band sparkles, which means she has reached her fitness goal.
"It's only 11:30," says a visitor.
"This goal is too low," Dyson says. "I need to fix it."
Her answer reflects a drive for improvement - for herself and the world - and helps explain why she decided to create a health initiative.
"If I was a maid, I'd want a dirty room," she says. "I think in American health I've found a really dirty room.
"My parents are both scientists. They like order. Ask, 'Why?' And when the answer doesn't make any sense then fix it."

National Conference Delegates Vote To Tax Churches, Mosques?

Delegates at the ongoing National Conference yesterday May 27th voted unanimously for churches & mosques to pay taxes. The delegates arrived at the decision after deliberating on recommendations made by the Committee on Religion.

A delegate representing Civil Organizations, Mallam Naseer Kura, during the deliberation observed that most religious leaders in Nigeria are now making a lot of money from their organizations and so should be taxed accordingly.

Supporting his arguement, Isaac Ighure a delegate representing the Nigeria Guild of Editors, in his submission said most religious leaders had so much money now to buy jets while their followers are living in abject poverty and asked that they should be made to pay taxes. "Some people buy private jets when people in their churches are suffering and living in abject poverty, they should be made to pay taxes,” he said.

The recommendations to pay tax will be submitted to the National Assembly at the end of the conference and if accepted by the National Assembly, it would then be passed into law. Who agrees that religious organizations should pay tax?

The Only Nigerian Journalist With Access To Boko Haram Flown Home To Negotiate With Group!

Nigerian journalist, Ahmad Salkida, who previously worked for Daily Trust and Premium Times and reported extensively on Boko Haram, fled Nigeria to Dubai 2 years ago after being accused of being a Boko Haram sympathizer. He said he fled after 'his life and that of his family became endangered' after security agencies began to mistake his in-depth reporting on the terrorist group as evidence of his closeness to them. He went underground for several weeks before finally fleeing Nigeria. Salkida was perhaps the only Nigerian journalist/civilian to have access to Boko Haram, and he said at the time that he'd turned down Boko Haram's many requests for him to publish exclusive interviews and materials for them.

Anyway according to new reports, the Nigerian government flew him back home a few weeks ago to negotiate with Boko Haram on their behalf, since he's the only civilian who has allegedly seen Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau and come out alive. He reportedly came back home after the Nigerian government assured him that he will not be arrested. (See his tweets).

One hundred non-combatant, low-level sympathisers were to be freed and the two groups brought together in a convoy of buses accompanied by a hand-picked go-between, respected Nigerian journalist Ahmad Salkida.
The plan had been agreed in tortuous negotiations in response to worldwide outrage over a night-time raid on a school in the town of Chibok on April 14 when the girls were abducted from their dormitories.
Mr Salkida was born in Borno State, where Boko Haram originated. He has known its leaders all his life and has unprecedented access.
He has been arrested on several occasions accused of being a Boko Haram sympathiser, and he fled with his family to Dubai two years ago.

But two weeks ago, he was summoned out of exile by President Jonathan’s aides. He initially feared he might face arrest, but was then given a letter of indemnity signed by the President when he flew to Nigeria.
Sources said Mr Salkida was able to travel by taxi to the group’s forest camp to talk to Shekau two weeks ago. ‘His mission was secretive and dangerous,’ they said.
He is probably the only civilian with access to Shekau. There is trust between them and Salkida had only one aim – to get the schoolgirls out.

He reported afterwards that the group of girls he saw were alive and well, and being adequately fed and sheltered. They told him all they wanted was to go home.
Salkida’s mission was complicated by the chaos surrounding government’s pronouncements about negotiations with the terrorist group.
Shekau has released two shocking videos showing the girls dressed in hijabs and reciting verses from the Koran.

The Body-Builder With No Arms?

You woke up this morning complaining that God hasnt blessed you?Read barbie's story then!
Dailymail reports that this past weekend at the NPC Junior USA Bodybuilding Championship, only one bodybuilder among hundreds of the men and women competing got a standing ovation.
Though she didn't win any major awards, armless bodybuilder Barbie Thomas had the Charleston, South Carolina crowd cheering and on their feet.

The 37-year-old mother-of-two lost both her arms during a horrific electrical accident as a toddler - but that hasn't stopped her from pursuing her bodybuilding dream                                                                                      Thomas says she can do anything an average person can do - except she uses her feet.
That includes brushing her teeth, making dinner, taking milk out of the fridge, texting, shopping, putting on makeup and even driving.
The single mom - who has been married three times - began bodybuilding back in 2003.
She said: 'I used to read about all the fitness competitors in magazines - and I thought that was the coolest thing ever. I wanted to be like them and do the things they were doing. I thought it was amazing.'
Thomas decided to take the plunge into the sport after years of doubting herself and wondering if she'd even qualify because she didn't have arms to do the competition mandatories: 'I finally called the locale chairperson and talked to him about it; and he gave me the green light.
Thomas lost her arms when she was two years old. She climbed onto an electrical transformer and grabbed the wires. The electricity entered her hands and surged through her body - scorching her arms down to the bone and turning them into something 'like charcoal.'
'The doctor said I wouldn't live - and if I did live, I'd probably be a vegetable,' she said.

'But God had a different plan for me; I'm still here, healthy, and alive and well.'

Jonathan in 2015 is Vote for Insecurity, Corruption ! – Kwankwaso

Any government who tells you that stealing is not corruption is a disaster that must be kicked out:

Kano State governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has declared that it is suicidal to vote President Goodluck Jonathan and the PDP as doing so will amount to voting for corruption and insecurity, a situation which every citizen of Nigeria should fight to get rid of, as soon as possible.

According to him, he said what Nigerians are now reaping is the product of inefficient leadership that is causing a lot of havoc to all Nigerians, including the president, expressing doubt that any medium in this country “will risk promoting the continuation of our current situation today.”
“I can assure you that from the facts and figure I have, there is evidence that, by 2015, people will come out en masse, including people from INEC, to ensure that credible leadership is elected so that we can have peace across the country.”
